Huey Magoo's was born in Orlando in 2004 and has kept its menu on a leash ever since: chicken tenderloin, fried under a hand-applied breading or grilled after a long marinade, and very little else. Order it three, five or seven pieces deep, as Tender Bites, in a Buffalo Sandwich or a Magoo's Wrap, or over a Magoo's Favorite Salad. Nine dipping sauces, three of them handcrafted. Regulars talk about the Magoo's sauce the way other people talk about secret menus, and about chicken that never turns out dry. Sweet tea, chips, satisfied.
