On Sun City Center Boulevard, The Hungry Greek does Greek food at counter pace and without ceremony. Gyro meat comes off the vertical spit to order; the rest of the menu is short and traditional — gyro, falafel and grilled chicken pitas, chicken or beef souvlaki, Greek bowls, spinach pie, dolmades, and shareables like hummus, tzatziki, tabouli and Greek fries. Avgolemono soup and a horiatiki village salad are there too. The recurring theme from diners is portion size and freshly carved meat, delivered fast.
