Hungry Howie's runs on carryout and delivery, and on a crust you actually choose. Eight flavors are brushed along the outer edge — butter, butter cheese, asiago, ranch, cajun, sesame, garlic herb and Italian herb — a house signature since 1985. The pizzas are straightforward and well loaded, from a simple pepperoni to the Howie Special and the all-meat Meat Eaters, and the calzone-style oven-baked subs are made from the same pizza dough, stuffed and folded before baking.
