Oxtail is the anchor, dark and slow-braised over rice and peas, with curry goat and curry chicken close behind and steamed cabbage alongside. Beef patties handle the quick lunch; a case of house-baked cakes and cookies handles the rest. Diners come back for the seasoning first and the portions second, and they mention how clean the little room is. Counter service, no fuss, food that eats like a Sunday dinner.
