John the Baker has been in the business since the family opened in Stamford, Connecticut in 1960, and the Coral Springs room carries the same handmade dough - made fresh daily - and the same housemade sauces. Pizza is the anchor, meat lovers and BBQ chicken among them, with chicken parmigiana, lasagna, baked ravioli, mussels marinara and eggplant rollatini behind it. Weekday lunch specials keep the tables full through the afternoon. Regulars are consistent: the pizza and the rolls are worth the drive.
