KEKE'S BREAKFAST CAFE – Restaurant

Seven in the morning to half past two, seven days a week: Keke's works one shift and works it hard. The Wellington kitchen turns out buttermilk, blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes wide enough to hide the plate, stuffed French toast in Nutella and turtle versions, Greek and Western omelets, cheesy grits and loaded home fries. Lunch brings turkey clubs, tuna melts, Carolina chicken wraps and a proper cheeseburger. Diners come back for two things above all: portions nobody finishes, and servers who remember them. Get there before the mid-morning rush, or accept the wait cheerfully.
