LA GRANJA PARRILLA – Restaurant

Parrilla means the grill leads, and that is exactly how this La Granja format reads. Charcoal handles the steak — half pound, full pound, with or without shrimp — plus grilled pork, ribs and churrasco, while the rotisserie keeps turning out the Peruvian chicken the chain has sold since 1993. Fish comes criollo, garlic or spicy; there is ceviche, jalea and a seafood chaufa. Sides stay classic: fried yuca, tostones, garlic potatoes, yellow rice. The sauce bar is self-serve and much loved. Fast, filling, and priced like a neighbourhood place.
