It started with empanadas made at a kitchen table around 2008; the Doral storefront came later. Las Acacias Gourmet Argentino is small, plainly furnished and entirely focused on Argentine home cooking — milanesas above all, run out in a long list of variations, plus grilled meats, pastas, salads, sandwiches, breakfast and those same empanadas. Lunch is the main event on weekdays, with dinner service Friday and Saturday. Diners keep describing it the same way: a cozy little room punching well above its size. Rustic, unfussy, and cooked like it is for family.
