Founded in Jacksonville in 1981, The Loop built its name on doing fast casual properly: burgers ground and grilled, pizzas baked to order, salads assembled rather than scooped. The Loop Burger and the BBQ bacon cheddar anchor the grill; the oven turns out Margherita and mushroom fontina pinsas and full-size pies; the salad board runs from crunchy broccoli to feta Mediterranean. Wraps, chicken tenders and thick shakes fill in the rest. Jacksonville families have been rotating through it for four decades.
