A meat-and-wine bistro on HaAri Street in the old city of Safed, where the stone walls do half the atmosphere for you. The kitchen works with cuts sourced from the Golan and bakes its own bread in a taboon, then pours from wineries a short drive away - the Galilee on a plate and in a glass. The cooking is Israeli, spice-forward, generous. Kosher under the Safed rabbinate. Evenings only, often with live music, and it takes groups up to eighty.
