Right on the water at 1640 Seaway Dr, Manatee Island Bar & Grill is Fort Pierce's answer to the question of where to eat with a view and no dress code. The kitchen leans hard into seafood: proper fish and chips, the Monster fish sandwich, crab-stuffed salmon, peel-and-eat shrimp, seafood risotto, the Captain's Platter for people who cannot decide. Rum buckets arrive by the fistful. Regulars talk less about the menu than about the servers, who are singled out again and again for warmth and attentiveness. Lunch, late nights, and a lot of laughing in between.
