Inside the Red Barn, and worth the hunt. Maws Place is a small American counter on 1st Street in Bradenton, tucked into the flea market and cooking in plain view of whoever ordered it — biscuits and gravy in the morning, burgers, Italian sausage with peppers and onions. It runs breakfast and lunch only and shuts in the afternoon. Regulars make two points over and over: the prices sit well under what the same plate costs across town, and the people behind the counter get orders exactly right. Nothing about the setting says destination. The plates keep arguing otherwise.
