What was Mayfair Kitchen is now Mayfair Grill, the restaurant inside the Mayfair House Hotel & Garden on Florida Avenue in Coconut Grove - same address, same garden, a kitchen rebuilt around live fire. The grill carries the menu: angus skirt steak with chimichurri rojo, Ora King salmon under key lime butter, langostines in Calabrian chili butter, portobello for the table that needs it. Cold plates lean bright, from fire-roasted beet carpaccio to gandules hummus with malanga chips. Brunch runs Sunday with music until two. Reservations are the sensible move.
