An industrial-corridor lunch counter on NW South River Drive that opens at four in the morning for the shift crowd and runs a Brazilian buffet the rest of the day. Picanha is the centrepiece, carved and served with rice and beans, maduros and a salad bar, and the Cuban coffee window turns out colada, cortadito and cafe con leche all morning. Vegetarians are looked after better than the setting suggests. Prices are working-lunch prices and the regulars are fiercely loyal. A genuine hidden corner of Medley.
