Tucked inside Nordstrom at the Village of Merrick Park, Bazille is the rare department-store dining room people book on purpose. The kitchen turns out an American bistro menu built for a long lunch: tomato basil soup and crab bisque, the Nordstrom burger, shrimp pomodoro, skirt steak, and salt-and-pepper fries with olive aioli.
