OMAKAI's Doral dining room, tucked into a plaza on NW 87th Avenue, runs the same trust-the-chef format as the rest of the group at a decidedly un-Doral price. Tasting sets step up from OMA to OMA Deluxe to a nine-course Omakai Experience; the a la carte side covers bronzino, madai, kanpachi, chu-toro, hotate and A5 wagyu, with sea urchin and grated wasabi root when supply allows. Hand rolls — blue crab, negi-toro, baked crab — are ordered as often as the nigiri. Happy hour lands every afternoon. Serious sushi, weeknight energy.
