פיצה רוסו – pizza

Pizza Rosso works handmade on Keren HaYesod in Ashdod: a dough left to ferment for around 48 hours, Italian tomato sauce made in house, and a hot Italian oven doing the rest. The menu splits between build-your-own trays and a run of chef's pizzas, with baked pastries, salads, a hot-from-the-pan section and desserts around them. There is a gluten-free base for those who need one, and business deals at lunch. Kosher, with delivery running past midnight midweek and picking up again on Saturday night. One bite and you are in Italy - their words, and not a bad claim.
