טורו סושי – sushi_restaurant

Toro is chef Yaron Ben-Hamo's modern far-eastern fusion kitchen, and the Ashdod branch on Tzahal Street keeps kosher without dulling the edges. The menu opens with tempura jalapenos stuffed with spicy tuna, crispy rice topped with yellowtail tartare, and salmon ponzu with yuzu aioli, then runs through signature rolls - Mag Roll, Unagi Crispy, Red Hot Chili Pepper - to a whole crispy sea bass with avocado aioli and togarashi, or a 300g black angus sirloin. There is a proper cocktail list too. Sushi with ambition, and a grill to match.
