It began as a rubbish-filled storeroom on the edge of Gan HaEm, and Raz Ron and Noam Ashrowitz spent days clearing it out before anyone could see what they saw. Now it is a small specialty coffee bar with a handful of tables looking onto the park lawn. The coffee is the point: espresso alongside V60, Aeropress and French press, brewed to be tasted rather than gulped, with baked goods to match. Saturdays bring chess tournaments and small live sets. The stated aim was to give Haifa a reason to rediscover the park. It worked.
