מפגש נשנש – cafe

A neighbourhood corner on Tchernichovsky in Haifa that has been pouring coffee since 1993 — part café, part kiosk, entirely local. Espresso and hafuch come over the counter alongside sandwiches, pizza and whatever is fresh on the shelf, and the lotto slips are as much a part of the ritual as the coffee. There are a few seats outside and it opens at seven every morning, closing only for Shabbat afternoon. Regulars talk about the owners more than the menu — the warmth is the product. Small, steady, and part of the street.
