קרנל - Carnal – Mexican

Carnal opened at the Florentin end of Frankel Street with a straightforward ambition: real Mexican food in Tel Aviv, at a price that does not flinch. Tacos are the anchor and they are handled generously — shredded beef, barbacoa, spicy tinga chicken, shrimp, and a vegan build with mushrooms and black beans, each arriving with house salsa and sour cream. Burritos come loaded with rice, black beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, lettuce, cabbage and fresh vegetables, and there is chilli con carne for the hungry. The kitchen leans traditional rather than clever. Florentin found its taco counter.
