Serendipity Yogurt Cafe – Restaurant
Serendipity has been making ice cream on Harding Avenue in Surfside since 2008, all of it from scratch in small batches - ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet - using organic ingredients from local suppliers including Panther Coffee and Paradise Farms. It is certified kosher dairy, and every sorbet on the board is vegan, which covers most of the room's needs in one shop. Open until eleven most nights, with an early Friday close and a post-Shabbat Saturday opening. A neighbourhood scoop shop that makes its own product rather than buying it in, and the difference shows.
