Stacked and Toasted – Restaurant
A glatt kosher sandwich counter tucked into the lower level of 26 West 47th Street, in the diamond district where a proper kosher lunch has always been harder to find than it should be. The board runs to eight meat sandwiches, built and pressed to order, with flatbreads and salads filling in around them. There is no dining room - the whole operation is takeout and delivery, aimed at people with forty minutes and a desk to get back to. It shares space with Sushi Fussion, which keeps the footprint small and the turnaround fast. Midtown regulars have taken to it quickly.
