High ceilings, modern Middle Eastern decor and a Tarzana room that changes gear after nine, when the DJ starts and dinner turns into an event. The kitchen is glatt kosher and built for sharing: watermelon yellowtail tartare, cauliflower steak, oyster mushrooms, a Jerusalem bagel, short rib pasta, sea bass, with marshmallow knafeh at the end. Diners consistently praise the cocktails, the plating and service that stays sharp when the room is full. It is not cheap and it is not quiet. It isn't trying to be.
