The Rehovot branch of Tokyo Sushi Bar sits on Herzl and keeps kosher under the city rabbinate, which has not narrowed the menu much. Starters and bao buns, salads and soups, wok dishes and poke bowls lead into classic sushi, fried rolls, sushi sandwiches, combinations and full catering trays. There is a chef's selection for anyone who would rather not choose, and a burger for whoever came along reluctantly. It runs late - past midnight most nights, and from early evening once Shabbat is out. Fresh fish, long hours, and a menu that covers everyone at the table.
