Soft serve out of a building shaped like a cone. Twistee Treat's Tampa locations trade on that image and then back it up. Chocolate, vanilla and strawberry lead, with a long premium list of coconut, cotton candy, banana, black raspberry and butter pecan, dipped, rolled in sprinkles or nuts, and served in cake, sugar or fancy waffle cones. Sundaes, banana splits, brownie boats, waffle tacos, malts and slushies fill out the board, and there's a rewards program for the frequent. Reviewers come back to the same things: friendly windows, quick turnarounds, honest prices. A dessert stop that never needs explaining.
