The North Federal Highway room of Whole Green, a calm, earthy little cafe in Pompano Beach with art on the walls and music low. Everything is made from scratch daily, from the hummus to the soups: a vegan Buddha bowl, falafel and fajita and chicken wraps, big fresh salads, smoothie bowls, paninis, and a rotating cookie counter that regulars single out as much as the food. Tzatziki and pita with it, matcha alongside. Diners consistently describe an unusually attentive front of house. Healthy eating that does not feel like a compromise.
