World Famous grew from a food truck into a small South Florida chain on the strength of one item, and the Boynton Beach room on North Congress Avenue serves it exactly the same way: egg rolls, stuffed with Philly cheesesteak, buffalo chicken, mac and cheese, brisket, seafood or soul food, ordered by the mix-and-match box. Loaded fries, wings, waffles and homemade cheesecakes fill out an Asian-fusion-meets-comfort-food menu that never takes itself too seriously. Diners consistently mention the sheer range of fillings and how quickly the counter moves. Ridiculous idea. Done properly.
