Z RAMEN – Restaurant

Z Ramen is a small, unfussy noodle shop tucked into a Village Boulevard plaza in West Palm Beach, and it casts a wider net than the name suggests — Japanese ramen alongside Korean rice bowls, Thai and Chinese plates, boba and dessert. The bowls are the reason to come: tonkotsu with pork belly and a marinated hanjuku egg, a chicken-broth miso version with bamboo, sprouts, scallion and fish cake, and a spicy pork-broth bowl for the heat seekers. Karaage, pork bao buns and Thai donuts fill out the order. Regulars come for a fast, generous bowl at a fair price.
