At 11B Palafox Place in downtown Pensacola, 86 Forks Bar + Table takes its name from kitchen slang for a dish that has run out, a wink at a menu built to be shared. The format is Asian small plates plus a ramen bar you configure bowl by bowl: bao buns, tuna tacos, shaved ribeye bowls, house kimchi, crispy duck, rice noodle soup with shrimp. Seating spreads across a covered breezeway, a garden courtyard and high-tops by the bar. Guests talk up the noodle soups, the kimchi and the nerve of the pairings. Service can lag when the room fills.
