AJ'S PIZZA – Restaurant

A pizza joint on Plant Street in downtown Winter Garden that argues both sides of the crust debate at once. AJ's Pizza Joint sends out thin New York pies, Margheritas and white pies, then counters with Detroit squares baked an inch thick in the pan, cheese crisped up the sides, sauce striped on after the bake and finished with Grana Padano and basil. The AJ's Original keeps it simple: house sauce, bari mozzarella, oregano, parmesan. Meatballs, salads and craft cocktails fill out the rest. Doors stay open until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Regulars praise the crust above everything else.
