BABBI'S – restaurant

HaBanim Street in Ashdod, and a grill house that raises its own beef. Babbi's sources from a family farm in southern Israel and dry-ages in house, which is why the entrecote here tastes like a decision rather than a default. Open with fried cauliflower, grilled aubergine or sauteed mushrooms, then move to skewered chicken, lamb kebab, or the mixed-coals platter built around aged fillet, foie gras and steak. Desserts hold their own: hot chocolate souffle, chocolate mousse, a layered brownie under nougat cream. There is a bar, a VIP lounge, an events hall, and a terrace seating a full hundred.
