A kosher meat restaurant on HaOrgim Street in Ashdod, and the grill is unmistakably the point. Steaks come well aged: entrecote from 300 grams up to a shared 800, sinta steak, lamb chops over charcoal, and a whole run of skewers served on swords, from pargit and entrecote to sweetbreads and moulard. Starters have their own following, chopped liver with onion jam, crunchy panko eggplant, the Turkish focaccia loaded with minced lamb, and the house salad spread lands free-flowing at the centre of the table. Portions are serious. Business lunches fill the room by day, celebrations by night.
