BUBBA'S 33 – Restaurant
Walls of televisions, rock music turned up, and a kitchen that makes nearly everything from scratch. Bubba's 33 on South Falkenburg Road is Texas Roadhouse's louder sibling, created in 2013 by founder Kent Taylor; the 33 nods to 1933 and the end of Prohibition. Hand-stretched pizzas, among them Meaty Meaty, Spicy Italian and Fresh Veggie, share the menu with Bubba's Smash Burger, the Bacon Guacamole Burger, a Philly cheesesteak and Shotgun Shrimp. Start with Big O' Rings, garlic knots or crispy fried pickles. The beer arrives properly cold. Weekends open at ten, and the room fills fast on game day.
