Beef here is aged four to six weeks, hand-cut daily on site, then flame-grilled over a 1,200-degree open pit fired with Florida citrus and oak wood. The West Cypress Street dining room opens nightly at five. Start with cedar plank crab cakes, lobster bisque, wild Florida gator or the 1974 Original Fried Shrimp, then take a center-cut filet, prime bone-in ribeye, a 21-day dry-aged porterhouse or the wagyu tomahawk built for two. Sides run to loaded lobster mac and cheese and au gratin potatoes. Mega key lime pie or creme brulee closes it. Founded by Red Lobster co-founder Charley Woodsby.
