CHINA CITY – Restaurant

A North Hiatus Road kitchen in Pembroke Pines that runs a sushi bar alongside the wok. One page holds tuna tataki, yellowtail jalapeno, kanisu, crispy rice, sashimi and seaweed salad; the next holds mapo tofu, eggplant in garlic sauce, sauteed string beans, Singapore noodles, happy family and Hunan beef. Appetisers wander further still, taking in chicken lettuce wraps, sweet plantains and Thai donuts. General Tso's and sesame versions come in tofu as well as chicken. Lunch runs its own numbered list, dinner repeats it larger. An unusually broad menu for a strip-plaza address. Order wide across both halves of it.
