CHUBBY MERMAID – Restaurant

A Broward food truck run by a family with four decades of restaurant kitchens behind it, from the Jersey Shore to Cooper City and Fort Lauderdale before the wheels went on. Seafood is the point. The lobster roll is the one people chase, backed by bangin shrimp tacos, grilled mahi and the Chubby cheese steak. Specials keep the board moving, chicken and waffles one week, shrimp and grits the next. Catering is part of the business, and neighbours describe the truck as one they add to the regular rotation.
