CLARA'S TIDBITS – Restaurant

A Jacksonville lunch institution across four locations, built on one thing above all: the chicken salad. It goes into pitas, onto plates, and into the Classic Combo alongside potato salad and a slice of lemon cake. The Tidbit Special stacks seasoned chicken chunks and pasta salad over greens with avocado and cheddar. Triple Pita layers turkey, ham and roast beef with three cheeses. Everything is made to order, with soups, salads and build-your-own sandwiches, plus catering for offices and conventions. Regulars talk about the potato salad almost as much. The doors close early in the day, so go at noon.
