DABUSH – Restaurant
The Israeli shawarma chain that opened in Tel Aviv in 2001 planted an American outpost on Sheridan Street in Hollywood, and runs it under ORB kosher supervision. The format is the one it exported: pick your vessel first, pita, half pita, laffa, baguette or a bowl, then pick what fills it. Turkey and beef shawarma come off the spit; beef kebab, pargiot, chicken schnitzel nuggets, grilled chicken and falafel wait beside them. Sides stay deliberately classic, french fries, hummus, white rice, majadra, more falafel. Open Sunday through Thursday, eleven until nine at night. Pickup and delivery can be ordered online.
