DALI opens at six in the morning on Hashikmim Street in Or Akiva, and the counter is already stacked. It is a boutique bakery and patisserie in one: croissants and brioche, burekas, cheesecakes, mousse cakes made to order for birthdays, and coffee to drink at the outdoor tables. Breakfast is served. Regulars talk most about how fresh everything is and how much choice there is on any given morning, and the place has become a natural stop for locals and passing drivers alike. A second branch has since opened in Karkur.
