A veteran dairy cafe in the Or Akiva commercial centre, by the community centre, run for years by Shoshi and Moshe Torgeman, and it trades openly on nostalgia. Breakfast is the anchor, assembled fresh in an open kitchen, and the counter carries quiches, salads, sandwiches and toasts, croissants, cakes and pastries through the day. The coffee is made on proper machines by people who have been making it a long time. It functions as much as a meeting point as a cafe, which is the highest compliment a small town can pay. Regulars, not customers.
