Delicatesse on Tel Hai Boulevard in Ashdod is a charcuterie counter run as a kosher French-style deli. The house makes boutique sausages and builds them into gourmet sandwiches on bread baked the same day, alongside sausage and tapas boards for sharing, Italian-style pastrami, a double-decker burger, salads and sides. Kashrut is lemehadrin, so it closes for Shabbat and reopens Sunday morning. Customers come back for the sausages themselves, sold by weight as well as in a roll. A small counter operation with unusually serious cured meat behind it.
