A small kosher counter on KKL Street in Ashdod built around one idea done properly: chicken in a crisp coating, hot out of the fryer. The signature is the crispy chicken tortilla, rolled with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion and aioli, and the rest of the board runs in the same fast, unfussy direction. Hours suit the neighbourhood rather than the tourist: open from midday to midnight most of the week, closed Friday, back roughly an hour after Shabbat ends. Diners come back for the crunch and the size of the portion. Certified kosher under the Ashdod rabbinate.
