Hybrid Coffee & Kitchen – Downtown – coffee_shop

Hybrid began as a coffee cart in a converted 1970s horse trailer outside the Exchange Place PATH station. It now occupies a ground-floor space on Manila Avenue in downtown Jersey City, roasting its own beans in small, seasonally rotating batches. The kitchen runs until mid-afternoon: brioche French toast, loaded avocado toast, eggs in a blanket tucked into a brioche bun, a Latin-style chicken soup, a shredded-beef stew sandwich poured into a hard bread bowl. Espresso, pour-over and nitro cold brew anchor the bar. The Pac-Man machine followed the team over from their old Heights shop. Jersey City born, and it shows.
