J2 – Restaurant

Lakewood's kosher pizza habit, in shorthand. J2 runs two shops in town and the counter moves fast: sourdough personal pies, mushroom-onion pies, pizza rolls and mixed fries, plus sushi, salads, an avocado wrap and pretzels for anyone who did not come for cheese. Gluten-free and whole-wheat cheeseless pies sit on the same board. Eggplant parmesan and a fried fish sandwich cover the rest. Certified by KCL, open late into Saturday night, and built for the after-school, after-shul, after-everything crowd. Nothing precious about it. Just reliably there when Lakewood is hungry.
