Stage Coach Bistro – Restaurant
A kosher counter on 5th Street that keeps hours nobody else in Lakewood does - three in the afternoon until one in the morning, two on Thursdays - which makes it the default for anyone getting out of a late seder or a night shift. The schnitzel is the reason it has a reputation: crisp, properly spiced, not the flat pale thing the format usually produces. Chicken fingers, hot poppers, grilled chicken and hot dogs fill the rest of the board. Certification is through KCL. Closed Friday and Saturday. It is a sandwich shop, not a dining room, and it is very good at being one.
