Downtown Tampa's shape-shifter: coffee shop and laptop refuge in the morning, brewery taproom by evening, one small kitchen running the length of it. Late Start pours its own hazy IPAs, ambers, sours and a light lager, and pulls proper espresso, cortados and matcha alongside. Food comes from Mighty Fine, the in-house kitchen led by Tampa chef Nathan Hardin: bacon, chorizo and migas breakfast tacos, a loaded breakfast bowl, then the Classic Boi and French Onion Boi burgers, a chicky sando, fried pickles, waffle fries, and a cookie butter ice box cake.
