Five acres of palms in the Lower Keys, reachable only by boat or seaplane, and the Dining Room is why day visitors make the crossing. Non-resort guests can book a prix fixe lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch, with tables indoors, on the oceanfront verandah or set directly in the sand, after cocktails at the Monkey Hut. The kitchen writes its menus daily around coastal ingredients, pan-seared white fish in a caviar beurre blanc among them, with Beluga service for those so inclined. Collared shirts, no swimsuits, adults only. The journey is half the meal.
