Rishon LeZion carries one of the densest runs of McDonald's in the country - mall food halls, roadside McDrive lanes, a cinema complex, a service station on the highway out. The kitchen works the Israeli line-up: McRoyal, Crunch Royal, McNuggets, giant fries, Israeli salad, and a McCafe corner for coffee and a pastry. A couple of the city's branches run under kosher supervision and close for Shabbat; the rest do not. Locals treat them as the default answer to a late shift or a car full of kids.
