Aba Toda works a single idea hard: handmade Israeli burekas, folded and baked to order, sold from Naftali Paltin in Rishon LeZion from early morning until two the next. The list is deliberately short — spinach, cheese, spinach and cheese, potato — all priced the same, with a twenty-piece tray for when the whole crowd turns up. Frozen desserts and cold drinks fill out the counter, and a shot of arak tends to appear alongside. Kosher, dairy, and open more or less whenever you want it. The kind of place that turns a late night into a plan.
